'An adrenalin rushing experience'

|
|
Where do we go? Usually we go up to 20km offshore. Sometimes we go around the other side of Cape Otway. We travel for about an hour there and an hour back. We need reasonable calm weather for the trip, since we travel along way out, where there's no land protection.
What do we catch? We target blue sharks and Mako sharks, by setting a burley trail, and then wait for the big bite. Our big shark will fight and it could take up to 1 ½ to bring them in.
How long do we go for? The shark trips go for at least 6hrs or more. This gives plenty of time for traveling and at least 4hrs of fishing. The trip usually starts at 2pm and goes into the evening.
What do we provide? We provide all top class gear, harnesses and safety equipment. A meal along with tea/coffee is provided on this trip. Cold drinks are available for purchase on board.
What does it cost? $220 per person for 6hrs including all gear and food Minimum numbers 8 people peak seasons Minimum: 5 people off- peak Maximum: 10 people
Shark Stories A Swedish man, living in Melbourne for the last 2 years will have a great experience to relate when he returns home in two weeks. 'Claues' caught a 2m Blue Shark weighing 50kg. He'd never caught a shark before and he was 'stoked'. Claues had hired a motor bike to come down to Apollo Bay especially to go Deep Sea Shark Fishing. He made a very worthwhile trip, and will never forget his Ocean adventure with Apollo Bay Fishing and Adventure Tours. | | |
